Grading (controlled by the BCS)

Grading and Certificate Request

5 working days after the interview the BCS will confirm the final grade

If the college wants to appeal the grade it has 20 working days to do so

If the grade awarded is Distinction, then a certificate is requested on the same day as the final grade is issued (as a Distinction is unlikely to be appealed)

Otherwise a certificate is requested 25 working days after the interview
